Today, even though it is Samhain I took time for a journey
with Uruz.
Sitting in front of my little altar, I called upon my
spirit guides to see who would accompany me. It started
out with The Stag, Shakti was on the end of some woods
looking on. Thanking The Stag for coming with me, we
entered Uruz and once […]
Earlier today I tried to work further with Uruz. Instead
of any insights, I fell asleep.
Later that day, a friend took Matt and I on a tour of the
mountains outside Chama. There among the mountains along
a gently flowing river, I started thinking of Uruz. Some
of the thoughts perplexed me until I started to get a
different perspective. […]
It has been terrible trying to find a quiet space to do my
journeys and meditations. With Matt around my usual
places and times don’t seem to be available. I wasted
most of last week trying. This morning I finally got up
at 6 AM and managed a short journey before he got up and
starting stirring around.
After grounding I […]
Today starts the beginning of a new relationship with Uruz.
The best place to start is with what I already know……
Uruz (Ur) is depicted on the Witch’s Runes as an Ox on a
hill with Thor’s belt above him.
Tree: Oak
Color: Green-brown
Totem: Bull
Divinity: Thor, Fiorgynn
Element: Earth
Stone: Tiger eye
Uruz is about strength, solidification, and firmness.

“Fehu, or Feoh, the Rune of Cattle, symolizes wealth. Anything you draw it on will take on a subtle glamour of wealth and value. You can draw it on yourself and you’ll come across as wealthy and important, but be careful — in some areas, that’s likely to incite a robbery attempt. You can draw […]
I’ve spent two weeks on Feoh and have come up with lots of
interesting facts. I know that each Rune will be a
lifetime of study. Therefore it is time to go on to the
next.
Now I will place the sigil on my crystal.
For my personal Runes, I have selected amethysts. I know
it is strange but that is […]
So far in my journey with Feoh, I’ve discovered that its
color is a orange-red. Its musical note and syllable is
what I think is a deep “Oh” and probably middle C although
it is difficult to tell without a musical instrument of
some sort. I’ve been hovering between Topaz and Amber for
its stone but definitely swinging towards Topaz. […]
Eventually I will transfer my written Rune Shaman Diary.
But for now this is the beginning of my Online Diary.
At least this is starting with the first Rune of my
studies - Feoh (Fehu)
Hopefully my journey will complete that which is restless
within me.

Today I meditated on the meaning of the two Indians. I
would assume that the one lying on the ground would be ill
or injured in some way. By the position of the yellow
glow, I came up with a problem in the kidneys such as
kidney stones. This would mean that the other Indian was
a healer and using […]
Fehu (pronounced FAY-who) equates to the English letter F.
It is the first rune of the Futhark and first of Freyja’s
Aett. The name means cattle and derives from the Germanic
root-word vieh. The modern English words fee, fine and
fief (as in fiefdom) are derivatives. Fehu is called Fe in
Old Norse, Feoh in Anglo-Saxon, and Faihu in Gothic.
Why […]
